HItch'n a Ride is a portrait done of a local Shire horse named Calvin. Hes spent most of his life in the Colorado high country and has seen it all. After being severely neglected and almost being put down, he was rescued and has turned out to be a stunningly beautiful horse. This beautiful representation of Calvin has him interacting with a bird catching a ride on his haunches.
